Dr. Lakatosh

Veterinarian

Dr. Olivia Lakatosh is from East Tennessee.  She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science in 2014 and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from the University of Tennessee in 2018.  She enjoys the variety of animals she gets to see in mixed animal practice.  She first got involved with livestock during her undergraduate education, where she was on the livestock judging team.  She loves working with cattle, and her goal is to work as a team with ranchers to better the agriculture industry.  She also values providing compassionate care to people's pets.  During vet school, she spent some time here at Cheyenne River and loved the area so much she came back after graduation.  She and her husband, William, are excited to have moved to the Black Hills area.  They have a Tennessee Brown Dog named Tyson, a German Shepard named Jax, and a corn snake named Xerxes.  In her free time, she loves to read books, hike, and throw frisbee for her pups.
