Regardless of your horse's job, we provide the primary care needed to keep them in the show ring, on the trail, and in the sorting pen. If there is something you need that is not listed here, please ask!
- Equine Dentistry - We offer floats and extractions under sedation.
- Lameness Evaluation - Our vets use digital x-ray as well as other tools and techniques to help diagnose the source of your horse's lameness.
- Wound Management - We are experienced in treating cut horses from a variety of injuries.
- Pregnancy Testing - Using palpation and ultrasound our experienced vets can help you determine your foaling date.
- Medicine and Prevention - CRAH offers equine medical services to treat everything from strangles to colic. We also provide equine vaccines and dewormer.
- Coggins Testing - Cheyenne River Animal Hospital is a USDA-certified Coggins laboratory! Turn-around time for tests is fairly rapid, but an extra fee does apply for results reported in 72 hours or less. Please contact the clinic for more information or to schedule a Coggins test. Please note: a negative Coggins test is required for interstate travel and most horse shows and sales. If you are unsure of travel or event requirements, please contact the clinic with your travel plans/event information.
